Des Moines Buccaneers Hockey Camps

Midget Major Hockey Tournament; $1,350 per team
U18: October 3 - 5, 2008 · U16: October 10 - 12, 2008
The 2006 National Champion Des Moines Buccaneers would like to extend an invitation to your team for the 2008 Midget Buc Bowl. The Buccaneers will host a Midget Minor (U16) and a Midget Major (U18) tournament this October. Last year both the U18 and U16 division had great fields with 16 of the best AAA team’s in the country; Each of these tournaments were be full in late July. Both tournaments will have USHL and NAHL scouts in attendance. This a great location for teams to visit as it sits in the middle of the nations only Tier 1 junior league and is very accessible for the scouts in the league to attend. Tentative dates for the tournament have been set for 2008: (subject to USHL 07-08 schedule)

This is a 4 game guarantee tournament with the possibility of 5 games. The field will be expanded this season to 20 teams in each division. All games will be officiated by USA Hockey junior officiating program officials and will be supervised by the USHL officials. Cost for this years tournament will be $1,350. There are already 4 MWEHL teams committed to the tournament, they are: Victory Honda, Team NXI, Little Caesars, and Belle Tire.

At each of the tournaments on Saturday night all teams will be able to attend a Des Moines Buccaneers USHL game with great ticket prices for all members of the team.
